Herbs to Strengthen Erection, Increase Sexual desire, Libido, Testosterone, and Balance Hormones For Men & Women

Problems with Age, diet, lack of sleep and stress
If you are having trouble getting or maintaining an erection, lacking sexual desire, have hormonal issues related to decreased interest in sex there can be a number of reasons outside of age. Stress is, of course, a huge factor, so to combat that, as always meditation, chi gong and lowering stress can help. Diet is a huge factor and sleep is important.
For more on this and how to increase testosterone naturally see my full blog here including exercises. But outside of that and on a more immediate bases here are some solutions.
Diet
Of course, a proper diet with many plant-based organic foods support sexual and hormonal health. I would be careful to avoid all conventional foods, hormones in conventional meats and conventional eggs, sugar, and of course GMO’s.
Foods that are helpful are:
Cinnamon, Cayenne, Ginger, Black Pepper & Raw Cacao.
If you don’t want to use chemical medicines such as Viagra or Cialis these herbs can help.
Herbs – Aphrodisiac and testosterone boosters
For Men:
*Tongkat Ali (eurycoma longifolia or Malaysian ginseng) –
Natural herb that helps to increase libido, testosterone levels, erectile function, sexual performance, and fertility in men, and helps men to get a strong erection. This may give you the feeling of being back to your younger years if you are getting into your late 30’s or more and feel your erection does not have the strength it used to.

*Maca Root Powder–
This is a daily herb for energy and stamina that also increases the libido of both men and women. I notice on the days I take this (I use a teaspoon in my smoothie) I am far more interested in sex than otherwise. It’s often distracting for me. Some studies have found that maca root is just as useful at fighting depression as prescription antidepressants, since it contains so many mood-enhancing nutrients. Another plus is that maca root is natural and does not have as many of the risks and side effects of prescription anxiety medication. Maca root powder can be made into a tea or sprinkled over other foods to give you the maximum health benefits. You actually need very little—I add half a teaspoon to my smoothies.
For Women:
Shatavari (asparagus racemosus)
– To balance hormones and alleviate painful menstruation, mood swings, fertility and more. It also has antioxidant properties, anti-inflammatory properties, boosts immunity and more.

Damiana –
There’s a lot of scientific research to back up damiana’s claims for revving up libido and sexual performance. Traditional native healers prescribed damiana not only for sexual enhancement, but also as an antidepressant, antiseptic, and diuretic. Research shows that these benefits stem from the herb’s active ingredients, which include tannins, resins, and five types of flavonoids, which provide health benefits through cell signaling pathways and antioxidant effects.
6 Ways Damiana Works
1. Reduces Vaginal Dryness and Increases Female Sexual Desire
2. Intensifies Female Orgasms
3. Viagra-Effects Without Harmful Side Effects
4. Reverses Impotence And Enhances Sexual Performance
5. A Healthy Alternative to Menopausal Hormones
6. Aids in Feeling Full After Smaller Meals and Overall Weight-loss
