The Seven Chakras Healing Technique
Within our body, there are seven energy centers known as “chakras”. They begin at the groin area, move up through the vertical center of the body, and end at the crown of the head. Each one of the seven chakras affects different aspects of our reality and connect our mind and energy body to our physical body. They send and receive information to and from the outside world. Healthy chakras are open and vibrant providing holistic well-being and are the doorway to higher consciousness. Unhealthy chakras are small or closed causing emotional and physical issues.
In this meditation I show you how to open, cleanse and detox the chakras easily, using Chi energy, Earth energy, Color Healing, and Sound Healing. Throughout the meditation, you will hear the sounds of Tibetan singing bowls in notes that correspond with the particular chakra we are charging. You will also here shamanic drums, didgeridoo (didge), flute and other high frequency sounds to help raise your vibration and take you into an alpha state in order to cleanse and charge the chakras.
More than 90% of people have at least one and more closed chakras (see below for examples). Meditation like this and energy work can help to open them allowing for positive shifts in your life with health, relationships, love, money, and more.
15 Minute Meditation: Anyone at any level can perform this meditation and there is no prerequisite or requirement. It can be done morning or night or anytime you feel stressed.
In addition to sending and receiving energy, each chakra contains a spiritual life lesson leading to our evolution towards higher consciousness. In brief, starting from the bottom up, the first chakra resonates with the life lesson of survival; the second with sexuality and creativity; the third with personal power, assertiveness, and self-esteem; the fourth with love and forgiveness; the fifth with expression, communication and will; the sixth with intuition, wisdom, and beliefs; and the seventh with transcendence, spirituality, and presence.
Location and function of the Chakras (You don’t have to know any of this but it is all explained as we move along in the meditation)
- The Root Chakra (first) is located directly at the base of the spine or the coccyx.
When it is closed or underactive you feel stagnant, fearful, ungrounded, defensive, or procrastinating; when overactive you feel materialistic and resistant to change. Do you get constipated? Do you often feel fatigued? Do you feel ungrounded or spacey? If you answer yes to any one of these questions, you may have an imbalance in this chakra.
- The Sacral Chakra is located in the lower abdomen and encompasses feelings, creativity, and sexuality.
Do you have problems with your reproductive organs (such as pain, including painful menstruation)? Are you having fertility problems? Does your creativity feel blocked? Do you have issues with sex or wish your sex life was very different? If your answer is yes to any of these questions, you may have an imbalance in this chakra.
- The Solar Plexus Chakra is located just above the navel and below the chest.
Do you have problems with digestion? Does your blood sugar fluctuate easily? Do you have issues with will, power, or self-esteem? Are you seeking approval? Are you lacking self-confidence? Any of this along with people who hold back and push their emotions down into their stomach have imbalances in this chakra. This causes chronic gas, bloating, liver problems, gastric upset or stomach ulcers.
- The Heart Chakra is located at the center of the chest and is the focus for love and understanding.
Do you have heart disease or high blood pressure? Does intimacy frighten you? Do you have problems feeling empathy for someone having a problem? A broken heart, inability to see another’s point of view, hate, and anger are all devastating to this chakra.
- The Throat Chakra is located in the throat area between the chin and the top of the sternum and is linked to powers of communication and self-expression.
Do you have thyroid problems or sore throat? Do you have a difficult time expressing how you feel? This chakra can be more often imbalanced in women since women are more prone not to express themselves. When an imbalance exists here people might say they have a lump in their throat or can’t find the words they are looking for.
- The Third Eye Chakra is located in the center of the forehead, right above our eyes. This chakra, linked to the pineal gland, is related to our perception beyond the physical realm.
Do you get frequent headaches? Have hormonal imbalance or depression? Poor intuition, or refuse to listen to it? Such as picking poor partners, keeping abusive friends, or making bad investments.
- The Crown Chakra is located at the very top of the head and is associated directly with dealings of the higher mind, spirit, universe, and the divine.
Do you have trouble with sleep or wake cycles? Have difficulty meditating? Feel disconnected from your own body and from others?
When operating from your ego, these chakras are thrown out of alignment and are either closed off or too wide open. This leads to a lack of flow in your body and Qi, which can lead to chaos in your life as well as sickness, disease, and in a spiritual sense. Society and the government or corporate powers beat up on your first three chakras by creating a sense of need or dependence on them as opposed to yourself. Meditations for the chakras can help to open your mind, heart, and spirit to aligning with your path and getting the results you want in your life.
These are combined meditations learned from Buddhist monks and Shaman. Nothing is required but it is a good idea to have comfortable clothes, perhaps a blindfold to remove the light from your eyes helping activate your pineal gland. Once purchased you will own the meditation and can repeat as often as you like.
