Instructions and Links on How to make your Coffee Health are below but first understand that overconsumption of coffee can be dangerous.
Problems with All Coffee
The downside of coffee is that it is a self-medicating stimulant that people use to overcome the beginning stages of illness including anxiety, depression, lack of energy, overgrowth of fungus or bacteria, chronic fatigue, and more. It also creates such an acidic pH, which is the environment that all sickness and disease live in, that 1 cup requires over 30 cups of water to neutralize. And this includes decaf.
Caffeine…
- Stays in your system for over 12 -24 hours (25% still there at night) – stop it and you’ll know what a good night sleep feels like
- Doesn’t allow you to get into REM sleep – the foundation of health
- Burns out hydrochloric acids especially on an empty stomach leaving you open to getting pathogens like food poisoning then bile has to take over overworking your liver
- Creates Adrenaline – mimics fight or flight which is why you have to go to the bathroom – this causes adrenal fatigue from damaging and overworking adrenals
- Extracts calcium from bones causing osteoporosis and teeth loss
- Highly acidic – takes 36 cups of water to bring back to neutral
- Highly sprayed with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides killing gut bacteria and other issues like cancer
- Covers up Nutritional Deficiencies such as why you’re tired
- Causes the adrenals to produce adrenaline over time causing neurotransmitters to burn out leading to brain fog.
- Lowers immunity
- Addictive Drug but for some reason is acceptable unlike cocaine
- Self-medicating often with alcohol at night
Benefits of Coffee
- Contains beneficial Antioxidants polyphenols – But Instead, eat 1/2 cup of wild berries as they have far more
- Contains some minerals – Eat a small amount of spinach and you will get more.
Note – This also is true for Green tea, Matcha, Chocolate (even at higher % of cacao), and anything else that contains caffeine.
Isn’t Decaf Healthier?
Unfortunately No, for many reasons. Caffeine protects the beans from mold and most decaffeination either introduces new organic toxins or contributes to mold and is not rich in nutrients coffee might have.
“The beans are soaked in a chemical solvent that leaches out the caffeine,” says Dr. William Li, physician, scientist, president, and medical director of the Angiogenesis Foundation, and author of Eat To Beat Disease: The New Science of How Your Body Can Heal Itself. “Some of the solvents are the same ones used in paint thinner or nail polish remover.” Although the FDA has approved these chemicals (namely, methylene chloride) in the decaffeination process, they still present a host of health risks.
Methylene chloride is a strong chemical. Dr. Rashimi Byakodi points to the way inhalation exposure irritates the nose, throat, and affects the nervous system. “It’s believed to temporarily slow down our central nervous system,” says Dr. Ava Williams. Perhaps most frighteningly, Dr. Byakodi says, “Methylene chloride is a possible mutagen and is reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen.” Best to avoid decaf.
Vicious Cycles
After a coffee drinker becomes stimulated they can become anxious or overstimulated and won’t be able to relax or sleep, so quite often they go to alcohol or some other depressant like drugs or cigarettes to bring them back down. This type of self-medicating creates a more and more vicious cycle that leads to many other problems and diseases.
I suggest quitting coffee for at least two weeks and if you insist on going back to it after that or if you can’t quit then my suggestion is to only make it once a day in the method explained in this blog.
Keep in mind caffeine is a drug, the most used drug in the world, and like most other drugs it addresses the symptoms of a health problem and not the problem. And this typically causes more problems then it solves in the long and short run. When using coffee daily for fatigue, this is just coving up nutritional deficiencies, fungal infections, and so many other health problems.
If you are having a lot of difficulty stopping right away then cut down your consumption and don’t drink it after midday at all. Make a plan to eliminate it over 1 to 3 weeks depending on how committed you are. Other tips to help are to take a tablespoon of coconut oil when you are feeling cravings. Take a vitamin B12 spray for energy and other deficiencies. Ginseng is another way to enhance energy helping in other areas as well. Drink lots of water.
Addiction Withdrawl & Replacements
Know that you will probably experience headaches, irritability, and disrupted sleep as with getting away from all addictions. Having a hot tea is also helpful as it can replicate the psychological aspect of it. Ginseng is also helpful in overcoming addictions from sugar and caffeine as well, so drinking it as a tea is helpful when quitting coffee. I prefer American ginseng from sources grown in Wisconsin such as: http://www.ginsengherbco-op.com/ When placing the order use code “artofunity” and will get 5% discount.
There are three mushroom coffee blends that people have told me replace the feeling of drinking coffee that I think are good. Here are the links:

I also would use peppermint or the blend “deep blue” essential oil (in the essential oil kit in products) to help open up the blood vessels to help eliminate the headaches. You just take deep breaths with a hand diffuser shown in this blog here. – https://theartofunity.com/oil-basics/
To give you an idea of what coffee does to your cells, see the first part of this video:
(FYI I do not like ionizing or alkaline water talked about in this video either, the coffee part is what is important.)
How to Prepare Coffee in the “Healthiest” Way
Any coffee you buy from the store, unless they grind it in front of you and you drink it within 10 minutes is just poisonous water as far as your body is concerned, then adding sugar and milk or creamer further makes it bad for you.
First, you have to start with Organic beans. It’s important to have organic because coffee beans are all skin so they absorb more of the toxins, unlike a banana or an avocado that has a skin around them. Conventional coffee is also one of the most heavily treated crops with pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides. If you can’t find coffee beans locally, see the links below. (Remember that one of the many health risks with these chemicals is that some pesticides can act as “xenoestrogens” in your body, disrupting hormone balance for both men and women. Chronic xenoestrogen exposure can also be one cause of “stubborn abdominal fat” in both sexes as well as “man boobs” in men… so choose organic as often as you can with most foods, but especially with coffee!)
You also have to use filtered water. Although boiling water will kill bacteria in it, boiling does not remove any of the lead, fluoride, chlorine, and other chemicals in tap water, nor does boiling remove BPA from bottled water.
You have to grind the beans yourself. This grinder was only about $18. – it takes about 10 seconds to grind. Now after grinding this, you have about 10 minutes to drink it, you could push it to 20 minutes but that’s about it. The ground beans oxidize after that and the antioxidant qualities are mostly diminished after that.
Next put it in a French press. The press has to be all stainless steel or glass. Don’t get a plastic one even if it says “BPA free” because you are pouring boiling water into it. Let that sit for about 3-5 minutes and drink. Don’t pour it in a plastic thermos either.
Don’t add anything to this that is going to make this poisonous either like sugar or pasteurized milk or butter. You can add cinnamon, vanilla bean, nutmeg, cocoa beans, stevia, raw milk, almond milk or coconut milk/cream.
This is easy to do at work for most people since all you need with the grinder and press is hot water, just bring it to your job.
I myself am not a coffee drinker but you’d be surprised how much better this coffee tastes over any other type of coffee, you just need to experiment with what beans you like, and mixing them. People who I’ve shown this to tell me they will never go back to drinking coffee any other way and they can’t believe they’ve done that for so many years.
Adding coconut oil or butter just prolongs the effect of the caffeine into your sleep and also adds fat to your blood preventing your white blood cells from doing their job while further promoting more adrenaline to thin the blood. Not a good idea.
Don’t drink any coffee after 2 PM if you want to sleep that night
Don’t drink it until 90 minutes after you wake up to allow your body’s hormones and energy receptors to activate naturally. (this will help avoid the crash)

Additional Notes:
First, you may have seen a debate in the past about how coffee has some compounds in it that could have negative health effects such as some tars or other possibly inflammatory compounds in brewed coffee. The other side says that coffee has high concentrations of beneficial antioxidants, phenolic nutrients, chlorogenic acids, and other healthy compounds, that it counteracts any bad compounds. Not sure that’s true but one more reason to avoid coffee.
Decaf Healthier?
Caffeine protects the beans from mold and most decaffeination either introduces new organic toxins or contributes to mold and is not rich in nutrients coffee might have. Avoid all decaf.
Do Not Drink any coffee if you are pregnant
Caffeine can significantly impact the growing fetus as it is able to freely pass through the placenta, and since caffeine does not provide any benefits to your baby, only potential hazards. The same goes for any type of caffeine. Coffee in pregnancy is also tied to smaller, later newborns for more see this article here –
