How to Make a Healthy Homemade Ice Cream

Ingredients:

1-2 bananas (the riper the better)

Directions:

  1.  Blend the ice first to make it crushed ice. The best is when the ice blends to allow it to pack around the sides, then you put in the banana in the center so that the blades can blend it.
  2. Blend banana until soft. This is my version of vanilla, if you like chocolate add cacao powder
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients you like (see options below).
  4. Freeze to harden or eat soft as is.

To make it thicker, you can use a food processor with either frozen bananas or process them first then freeze.

You can also add a healthy chocolate syrup, shown here in this blog.
